Towns Fund

The partnership-based Town Deal Board oversaw Rotherham’s successful bid to the government’s Towns Fund. £31.6m has been awarded to carry out ambitious regeneration projects across the town centre, Eastwood and Templeborough. This includes a leisure-based scheme at the Guest and Chrimes heritage site, and support for the development of a new mainline train station.

The Rotherham Together programme

The Rotherham Together programme brought communities together safely as people started to rebuild their confidence after the pandemic struck. It included Hope Fields at Thrybergh Country Park, a living memorial designed in consultation with local people, which acts as a tribute to those who lost their lives to Covid-19.

Integrated health and care

Rotherham’s Integrated Care Partnership sees health bodies, the council and other partners work together to transform health and care services and support people to live independently in the community. Six primary care networks – groups of GP practices - are helping to deliver joined-up care across the borough.

For residents, the Rotherham Health App provides easy access to manage your healthcare. It is available wherever you are, on desktop, tablet, or mobile devices.
